Mykonos Horseland

Mykonos Horseland was established in 1995 in the city of Edessa in Northern Greece. Since 2007 it has been a feature on the island of Mykonos with great success.

We offer daily equestrian tours, the most unique horseback riding experience available on the island. Ride the winding rocky goat tracks between local farms and the volcanic hills and reach unspoilt small secluded coves still kept natural without the usual beach clubs, sun beds and crowds.

The horses at Mykonos Horseland have come from a less fortunate beginning; most have been rescued from ill treatment or abandonment. We, at Mykonos Horseland have invested a lot of time and effort working with these horses carefully to help them regain their trust in humans again. Natural horsemanship and a lot of care have given these horses a new, better life.

Here, at Mykonos Horseland the welfare and treatment of all our horses and animals is our top priority. Therefore, we have set in place a maximum weight limit for beginner riders of 80kg (90kg for experienced riders) to ensure their well being and comfort.

All riders are provided with safety helmets and are required to wear them throughout their time around and on the horses.

All tours are run by experienced professional instructors.
